Program Summary
The Reconnect Youth Services program strives to identify street-entrenched youth or youth who are at risk of being on the street. Through youth engagement, the program aims to reconnect youth to their community, home, school or work environment.
The program offers outreach support as well as a youth drop-in center that is conveniently located in the downtown core where youth, aged 13-18, can attend fun-filled recreational activities. Youth will also receive mentorship and individual and group life skills support. The worker can also assist the youth with referrals to other necessary services that meet their needs.
The Reconnect building is funded by the Ministry of Children and Family Development.
